Accommodation at Hillbrook Grange is provided for residents in single rooms, some of which have en-suite facilities and a double room. Rooms are fully carpeted and are decorated to a high standard as well as being equipped with essential furniture. Residents can enjoy the extensive well-maintained grounds and patio areas.

CARE ASSISTANT
Hillbrook Grange are looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives. We offer our care staff flexible hours on full or part time basis over the 7-day week to offer a good work-life balance.

As a Care Assistant you will be delivering quality person-centred care to each of our residents and ensuring they feel part of life in the home. Developing relationships with our residents’ relatives, which will support you in understanding, providing care, warmth and kindness to make a difference to all our residents.
Qualifications in Care is desirable but not essential. (Level 2, 3, 4 and so on) As training and support will be offered.
Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible to work shifts.
Expectation of successful candidate to undertake weekly lateral flows and PCR testing in line with the LA guidelines. Also, we follow LA guidance with regards to COVID-19 vaccinations.

Senior Care Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Hillbrook Grange in Bramhall. We’re looking for caring, compassionate individuals who can manage a team, solve problems, show good judgement and communicate with all sorts of people.
As Senior Care Assistant you will be responsible for the smooth running of the shift and will assign specific tasks to the care assistants and monitor their completion. You will develop, review and update residents’ personal care plan to meet their changing physical, social and psychological needs. You will promote high standards of care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately.
To ensure the administration and recording of medication is in line with prescriptions, Hillbrook Grange’s standards and legislative requirements. To ensure preparation, creation, implementation, review and update of all resident’s person-centred support plans in line with their personal wishes, preferences, dignity and privacy and to work collaboratively with team members to achieve person centred support plans and best practice. To be aware of and comply with Health and safety practices. Encourage an open and honest culture, and provide support, encouragement and mentoring to all staff.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
Medication administration training or/and a willingness to undertake training if required
NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care desirable or a willingness to undertake the qualification
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

Activities Coordinator
Would you like to be able to make people’s dreams come true? Are you creative, and do you get a buzz from using your imagination freely to enhance the daily lives of elderly residents? We are looking for an outstanding Activities Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent activates package for our residents.
As Activities Coordinator you will have the freedom to plan, design and implement a range of social activities for residents which meet their needs for friendship, social interaction, recreation and culture and appealing to a wide range of interests, in line with those of existing residents’ choices. You will have a creative flair, strong organisational skills, and the ability to relate well to people from all types of backgrounds. You will need to be sociable and able to communicate well with our residents and external activity providers. Previous experience in a similar role or environment would be beneficial however full on the job training and a robust induction will be given
Ensure residents have the opportunity to participate in activities within the home as well as assist in the care of the resident’s physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the care home.
Improve the wellbeing and overall health of the people living in the home and ensure that services are consistently provided to a high-quality standard.
Be responsible for organising an activities programme that will maintain interest and progression over a period of time.
Be responsible for purchasing any items required for the activities programme and will document all activities which take place in the resident’s personal files.
As well as organising outings, you will also organise any day of celebration and keep records of resident’s birthdays.
